In my opinion, helping provide a good education requires an influential teacher. A teacher is not only responsible for the content and knowledge taught, but for the entire atmosphere of the classroom.

I have been fortunate to have many influential teachers, who have made a difference in my life. My most influential teacher was Mrs Francis from Loreto Sixth Form College. How do I know she was influential? She helped me blossom as a person, helped me achieve my full academic potential and most importantly her pastoral nature helped me decide my future career path in the education sector.

My teaching career stems over 2 decades, having witnessed education ministers introduce policies and then for it all to be changed with the new government, I am all too familiar with the carousel and confusion parents must face with the roller coaster educational policies continuously being introduced.
